Salary comparison
The configurations you collected in the salary calculator, side by side.
Your comparison is still empty. Calculate a salary in the calculator and collect it with “Compare” — up to three configurations can be placed side by side.
To the salary calculatorFrequently asked questions about the comparison
Which configuration is the reference?
The one with the lowest annual gross. The comparison sorts your configurations ascending – in the bar, the table and the chart alike – so the cheapest sits on the far left, tagged "Referenz" and carrying the same colour as its bars in the chart. Every difference is measured against it and therefore always reads as a gain. Remove it and the next-cheapest takes over, and all differences are recalculated.
Does more gross automatically mean proportionally more net?
No. Income tax rises progressively, so a higher gross salary leaves proportionally less behind – the effective deduction rate in the table grows with it. When the raise comes purely from a tariff increase while the tax brackets stay put, this is called bracket creep (kalte Progression): nominally more money, in real terms often barely more purchasing power.
Why are there no net figures in the comparison?
Net is passive on this page: it only appears once you have entered your tax details in the calculator's Gross/Net mode and ticked "Eingaben merken". One single tax situation – yours – then applies to every column, because only that way does the net figure actually compare the configurations rather than three different tax cases.
How long is my comparison kept?
Only for this browser tab: the comparison lives in sessionStorage and is gone as soon as you close the tab. Only your inputs are stored, never computed amounts – every figure is recalculated when the page opens, so it always reflects the current pay table. Up to three configurations can be placed side by side.
