metallgehalt.de has had a thorough refresh. Your familiar tools — the salary calculator, gross-to-net and the pay-scale tables — are of course still here, now with a fresh look. Here is what is genuinely new:

• A calmer, tidier design: Ads now sit consciously in a few places instead of being scattered across the whole page — nicer to read and calculate with.
• More depth on your pay: More detailed information about your Entgelt (pay) — laid out visually with charts and explained in plain language.
• Knowledge base & analysis: A new knowledge base on the tariff agreements, including analyses — for example on purchasing power and inflation.
• Light and dark mode: The site follows your system setting or can be switched manually at any time.
• Now in English too: The entire site is now bilingual — available in both German and English.
